Why a sauna night
Slow down. Warm up. Stay a while.
Wood heat does something an electric room or a hot tub does not. It is deep and quiet, and with a cold plunge to follow, it turns an ordinary evening into the part of the trip people remember.
- Unwind
Let the day go
No screens, no timer. Heat, a cold plunge or cool air, rest, and go again whenever you like.
- Recover
Warm up after the cold
Come in from the ski hill, the trail or a long winter day and let the heat loosen you up, then cool off in the plunge.
- Sleep
Wind down for the night
A long warm evening followed by a cool-down is a calm way to end the day, and many people sleep deeply after.
- Reset
Heat, then cold
Step out into the Alaska air or drop into a cold plunge and feel your whole body wake up. Then head back in for another round.
- Gather
Time together
A real evening with friends or family, around a fire, with space to talk. It beats another dinner out.
- Remember
Make a memory
A birthday, a reunion, a weekend with the whole family. Nights like this are the ones people still talk about years later.

Questions
Before you reserve.
What are the benefits of sauna?
People use sauna to relax, loosen up after a cold or active day, and wind down for the night, and many simply enjoy the time together. Plenty of people also love the rush of a cold plunge between rounds. Research, mostly from Finland, has linked regular sauna bathing with better heart and blood vessel health and other benefits. Much of that research is observational, so it shows a link and not proof, and sauna is not a medical treatment. Research on cold plunges is thinner and more mixed, so think of them as a way to feel invigorated, not as a treatment. If you have a health condition or are pregnant, check with your doctor first.
Do I pay now?
No. Your request holds nothing against a card. We reply to confirm your dates, then share how to pay.
How much does a sauna rental cost?
The first night is $795 and each additional day is $200. Pick your dates and the total appears right away. For example, two nights is $995.
Is the sauna mobile? Can you bring it to my place?
Yes. The sauna is on a trailer and we deliver it to your place anywhere in the Anchorage area. We ask for your location by email once you request dates, and we also run public sauna days in Girdwood in winter and Hope in summer.
Is my request a guaranteed booking?
Not until we reply. We read every request and confirm by email, usually within a day.
How many people can come?
As many as you like. The sauna comfortably fits six at a time, so a bigger group simply takes turns. We confirm your group details by email.
Is it a real wood-fired sauna?
Yes. The stove burns split, dry wood, and the heat is the soft, even kind that comes off hot stones. There is no electric heater.
Do you offer cold plunges?
Yes. A cold plunge pairs well with the heat: sit in the sauna, cool off in cold water, rest, and repeat. We go over the setup and any details by email when we confirm your dates.
Is a cold plunge safe?
Cold water is intense, so ease in and keep it short. Never plunge alone or after drinking alcohol. If you have a heart condition or high blood pressure, are pregnant, or are unsure, check with your doctor first. You can always skip the plunge and cool off in the open air instead.
What if the weather is bad?
Snow and cold are part of it. If roads or wind make a stay unsafe, we will reach out and move your dates.
Want to know when we'll be in your area?
Leave your number and we'll text you when we run public sauna days near you. No reservation needed.
